[ She gestures vaguely with a piece of paper in her hand. ]

She left a letter, and Kero-chan is here with me. If anyone has her other Pokémon, let me know. I wanna make sure they're taken care of.

[ There's a moment in which Miyuki wavers, like she's not quite sure what she'll do or say next. In the end, she lets out a breath. ]

Gonna do the Kanto tour. I'll take on those crazy elite teams after I wipe the floor with the regular ones.

[ Her voice starts to rise a little, steadier now, and she even tries a smile. It looks a little strained, but it's something. ]

I'll start in Celadon, since I'm here. I'll even give these poor dudes a fighting chance; I'll try to match their levels. Might be hard, though.

Say, does anyone have both sets of badges already? What's the most badges anyone has? And has anyone finished an elite tour yet?

[ When she runs out of questions, she looks less upset, at least. She ends the feed dry-eyed.

[ 'Steel-bro'? It's an interesting name and unlike any of the ones Kyrie has chosen for her. It intrigues her to think on how people chose different names for their Pokemon. ]

How do you come up with names for your Pokemon? [ So it doesn't hurt to ask, right? ] I'm just a bit curious over that is all.

As for the levels, it is still somewhat of a challenge, right? Ten levels may seem like a lot, but a gym leader has perfected the art of raising their Pokemon in that setting. A good example of what I mean is if you compare Nero's Pokemon to my own. I may have some higher level Pokemon, but they have been trained to be that way through softer means. Defense and breeding is my specialty, but Nero's own team is a powerful offense that leaves devastation in it's path. I might have one that's a higher level, but he holds his Pokemon to different expectations, so they could easily defeat my best.

Names? [ Miyuki's never really thought about it before. ] I guess I just call everyone 'bro' and 'sis,' so I call my Pokémon that, too. And I name them the way I think of them. Like, Nero is 'Metal-bro' because he likes metal music. I learned that when I first met him. Steel-bro is 'Steel-bro' because he's gonna be a Steel-type when he grows up. Godzilla-bro is 'Godzilla-bro' because he's big like Godzilla!

[ She seems satisfied with her explanation in the end. ]

Even with ten levels, I don't just plow through them or whatever, but it's not as exciting as having to really fight for it, I think. Like, in the games, I always had to challenge the Cerulean Gym, like... five times, because I started with a Charmander and her Starmie totally kicked my butt over and over. [ A sheepish grin. ]

I guess I just hope the level-100 challenge is harder!

[ So that's why she always adds 'bro' or 'sis' - it makes a lot of sense to Kyrie as she gives a nod. ]

Well, it sounds as though you know what you're doing. [ Curiously adding on: ] What's the level-100 challenge though?

I heard that if you have all the badges from one region, you can show them to the gym leaders in the other region to get them to face you with, like, a super elite team. Six level 100 Pokémon!

I'm waiting to do it until I get all sixteen regular badges.

That sounds overwhelming. Six level 100 Pokemon? [ Kyrie doesn't have a Pokemon close to level 100, so it's impressive to her. ] Do you think you can do it?

Sure I can! [ She hopes. ] I can do anything, sis. Trust me.

Anything at all? I'll have to come to you if I have any problems in the future. [ Not that she would actually trouble a younger girl, but it may boost her confidence a bit. ] Wouldn't that bother Nero?

[ Hee hee. ]
