[ Miyuki clicks the feed on herself, considerably more cheerful than the last time the network saw her. She's sitting on a couch in the Otherhouse, shoulder-to-shoulder with Sakura, each of them clutching mugs of hot cocoa topped with liberal whipped cream. ]

This hot cocoa is, like, twenty percent better than any other hot cocoa ever. Wanna know why?

[ Sakura giggles in the background. ] It's victory cocoa!

Yep! [ The camera is jogged slightly, then Miyuki holds up a gleaming Plain badge. ] Soloed it! Godzilla-bro went as easy as he could, but that chick still cried, like... a lot. [ She looks exasperated. ]

I still think you could've been a little nicer to her, Miyuki-chan.

Hey, I said I was sorry for kicking her butt! Anyway, we'll probably go to Azalea soon, but I don't know how hard it'll be to get through that forest in this weather and whatever. Any advice?

Yeah, I guess that's, like, a nice way of looking at it.

I actually find that part of him sincerely charming.

And besides, I cannot think badly of any person who holds his friends and family so closely to his heart.

[ Now it's a sly grin. ]

Ooh, you think he's charming, L-sis?

[ She smiles. Understanding what she was trying to do. ]

I'll have to tell him you said that, y'know! No secrets between siblings~

It must be nice to have siblings ...

[ Laughs. ] I don't mind him knowing when I believe it is perfectly true.

Heh, yeah... sometimes they're a pain, though. Like, I have to help my brother out when he gets lost all the time, or sometimes have to wake him up so he won't be late for stuff. But mostly he's okay. He watches movies with me and stuff, and he always remembers my birthday.

[ The things that are important to ten-year-olds. ]

It sounds to me like you are a very, very good sister ... you really take care of your brother.

I believe that those small things are his way of showing he cares.

[ Ah -- ten year olds. We were all ten once. ]

[ She grins a little. ]

Yeah, I'm the best sister, dude. And he's all right, too.

... but I did have Athrun when I turned twelve. He is like a sibling to me.

[ Except he was technically --- her fiancé. ]

Mmm... a while ago, I could've said I had two brothers and a sister. My bro's best friend, Kippei-nii, was like my big brother, and his sister, An-chan, was like my sister. We were best friends. ... Then they moved to the mainland.

[ She shrugs, the literal expression of her figuratively trying to shrug it off. ]

It's no big deal, I guess. I'll get to see Kippei-nii's tennis team play at Nationals, and An-chan will be there, too.

Then you will see each other again ... that is still a chance. That is still not goodbye.

[ To her, the real goodbye --- was watching her friends get blown up or forever closed in a coffin. ]

Yeah! I'll definitely see them again. Maybe on the pro circuit, someday!

[ Hard to be optimistic about seeing them again in the face of that. ]

I am sure you are definitely good enough to become a pro.
