[ The 'Gear whirls wildly before focusing on the bright face and dark eyes of a tan-skinned young girl. She grins. ]

Oh, it's on. Yo! I'm Miyuki, and this is my first day as a Pokémon trainer. I'm leaving the first town now. My starter is this little guy — [ The camera returns, with that same slightly nauseating spinning motion, to the Larvitar, who raises one claw tacitly, then turns back to the girl's face. ] — who's totally gonna be awesome when he evolves.

Anyway, I'm already sick of Rattatas, big surprise, right? I've been seeing these other dudes around, like these pink floaty guys and these ones that look like raccoons. Are they any good? I don't wanna use up my Pokéballs on lame Pokémon.

And where can I get a bike? Help a girl out!

Of course she is. I'd show her to you right now, but I have her on my PC since I'm training lower leveled Pokémon.

What's wrong with a Butterfree? She's really awesome, you know. She helped a couple of lost friends once and helped me win a gym badge.

My second one in Azalea town. It was a bug type gym, so some of her moves were really useful there.

Did you name one after my brother yet?

Not yet, but I'm working on it. I currently have only five named after people I know. You, my sister, Kenya, Zaizen and Gin.

You should name, like, a Slowpoke after him. Or something really tall.

Yeah... I would already have a few quite tall Pokémon already, but the other already has a name and the other one came from someone else, so I'm not sure if I should name him.

I wonder if you can rename a Pokémon you get from someone else? I know you can't in the games.

Well, since this place resembles the games a lot, I would guess that you can't do that here either... but I haven't tried so I can't say for sure.

Guess I'll find out sooner or later, huh?
