[ Miyuki's standing on a beach in Olivine when she fumbles the 'Gear to life. A Slowking is floating on the water in the background, and will drift gradually further out onto the ocean as the feed goes on. ]

So after spending all weekend with Totoro in Goldenrod, I wound up where I was headed, anyway. That's the weird part. [ Not the rest of it — she's been here too long. ]

I got to pick up my stuff from the Otherhouse... Otherdad's really gone, huh? [ She smiles a little ruefully. ] I bet there's kids who need him back home where he came from, though. It's okay. [ She's certainly taking this a lot better than the last few disappearances. ]

Anyway, I'm in Olivine now, Braids-sis. [ She never got your name.... ] I'm on the east side of town, on the rocky part of the beach. [ The camera whirls to reveal an intimidating rock face, currently being scaled by a cheerful Tyranitar. ] There's woods up there; I'm not gonna go trekking through them, though. I've got surfers, so I'll take the water around to the docks. You should meet me there!

[ She turns around, the camera turning with her, and in the distance, bobbing on the water, is a fat pink shape. Miyuki makes an exasperated noise. ]

Gotta go get my stupid Slowking first.

[ And with that muttered remark, the feed goes out. ]

[ From the way the feed is bobbing up and down, it looks like Miyuki is on the water. ]

Yeah, one was waiting for me when I got there this weekend. She's kinda cutesy, but she used to belong to, like, my best friend, so I'm glad I got her.

[ After a pause: ] Did you get anything cool? [ That's not too inappropriate, right? Otherdad wouldn't want them to be sad that he's gone. ]

I can send Memo or Blitz to guide you! Blitz is shy, though.

I'm gonna be riding my Meganium, so if that'll scare your shy guy, maybe send the other one?

Right. Look for a Dragonair!

[Totally not inappropriate. She would have done the same thing.

She shrugs though.]

Not particularly. I just got the Pokémon back that I gave him for that Christmas holiday.

[ Once Miyuki has fetched her straying Slowking and returned him to his ball, she heads toward the docks on her Dragonite's back. The Dragonair is waiting there when she arrives, just like Rikku said. Miyuki's Dragonite beams at it as Miyuki scrambles off his back onto the docks. ]

Hey, little guy! [ She offers the dragon a Pokétreat. ] I'm Miyuki.

Something else to train, huh? [ Miyuki grins a little. ]

Yeah, that's a good way of summing it up. [Eyeroll]

[Memo takes the treat and waves her tail at the Dragonite]

[And off she goes to lead Miyuki to Rikku's place]

A Deerling that used to belong to my friend. Otherdad got it when she left. Cute, but only level fifteen. I figure he didn't train it at all.

[ Miyuki follows, glancing around the streets as she does to try to remember the way there. Somewhere along the way, she returns Haku to his ball, since his stomping feet are attracting attention. ]

[ She offers a rueful smile. ]

Yeah, I guess so. Not sure when, but I was at the Otherhouse this weekend, and he wasn't there. He left a note; I copied it down on my 'Gear.

Of course she will! I'll let you know when the housewarming's gonna be.

[Soon, they get to Rikku's big yellow house. She's sitting on Tanta the Torterra's back, tossing flags and scarves up for her Pidgeotto and Cliff's Altaria to catch]

I'll look forward to it. I'm not sure where we'll be staying, but I guess we'll decide soon. We just arrived, after all.
